You can use any number of ingredients to make a simple yet nutritious stir-fry rice dish which children (and adults) of any age will enjoy.
Suggested Ingredients:
- Basmati rice
- Chicken or vegetable stock
- Onion
- Garlic
- Bacon, chicken or ham, pre-cooked
- Peas, sweetcorn, carrots, French beans
Method
- Cook the rice in stock until soft.
- Gently fry the onion and garlic in a frying pan until transparent.
- Mix rice with onion, garlic and other ingredients and heat through. You can use any ingredient combinations you like!
