Aspirant Health

Long working hours, stress and juggling a list of commitments mean you have pushed your personal wellness down the list of priorities?

Aspirant Health  takes your health and happiness seriously. We know you’re here because something isn’t quite right with your health.

We are experts in helping busy professionals regain their health and wellbeing. We use the latest science to create bespoke health plans for people like you to help them show up 100% in their life.

‘Optimum health’ means  different things to different people, which is why every plan we create for our clients is truly unique and is crafted to suit your personal circumstances. While the traditional medical approach is symptom orientated, the functional medicine approach questions why the symptoms are occurring.

At Aspirant Health, we will explore all aspects of your  unique health history, with detailed analysis and care. We may also use functional testing to get to the root cause of your problem. Once we know what is driving your symptoms, we will create a  tailored programme that provides symptomatic relief while addressing the origin of your health complaint.

We believe that feeling well, being well and staying healthy shouldn’t be hard work or time-consuming. Our Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine programmes include custom information, support and coaching that fits in with your life.

Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy is a patient-led and evidence-based approach to health that is relevant for a wide range of individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking to enhance their health and wellbeing. It’s only now that the science of what to eat is getting the recognition it deserves and is being actively promoted by a small number of well-known medical doctors.

The challenge is to recognise nutrition insufficency in a society of abundance

Nutritional Therapists apply the latest research to your unique symptoms before coming up with a personalised diet, lifestyle and (sometimes) supplement plan to support you.

It’s a very personal approach. You might hear practitioners talk about people being ‘biochemically unique’. This means, your DNA, previous medical history, and any current symptoms as well as what you like and don’t like, not to mention your personal circumstances will play a factor when a Nutritional Therapist creates a plan for you.

To eat is necessary, but to eat intelligently is an art.

Functional Medicine

Functional Medicine focuses on the individual using evidence-based medicine to uncover the root cause of their symptoms. While the traditional medical approach is symptom orientated, the functional medicine approach questions why symptoms are occurring. This approach requires a detailed analysis of your medical history, your diet, your lifestyle as well as any genetic and functional blood-, urine- and stool testing. All of this information allows us to create a personalised treatment plan to support your unique health needs.

Functional Medicine Approach

Functional Medicine is a systems biology-based approach. It uses evidence-based medicine to proactively address the root cause of your symptoms.

It recognises that one condition might have a number of possible causes and one cause – like inflammation – can result in many different medical diagnoses. How you experience these conditions or causes depends on many individual factors, including what you eat, your stress levels, your genes, your lifestyle as well as environmental factors.
