SIMPLE STIR-FRY RICE

You can use any number of ingredients to make a simple yet nutritious stir-fry rice dish which children (and adults) of any age will enjoy.

Suggested Ingredients:

  • Basmati rice
  • Chicken or vegetable stock
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Bacon, chicken or ham, pre-cooked
  • Peas, sweetcorn, carrots, French beans

Method

  1. Cook the rice in stock until soft.
  2. Gently fry the onion and garlic in a frying pan until transparent.
  3. Mix rice with onion, garlic and other ingredients and heat through. You can use any ingredient combinations you like!
